My background includes: being raised in Southern California where I went to high school in Long Beach, music camp at Arrowbear Music Camp, sailing in the bay and ocean off Belmont Shore, surfing at Huntington Beach; going to the University of Utah on an NROTC scholarship; majoring in Physics; being an officer in the Nuclear Submarine Service; getting an MBA at one of the graduate schools at Stanford; developing part of my career in international banking; founding a public company; and becoming an Angel Investor and a director on a number of boards of start up companies.
